Pearlwood shutters are our lightest wood, ideal for all our styles such as full height, café style and tier on tier shutters. Additionally it can be manufactured to produce shaped shutters and solid panels. It is a popular choice as it has a paint finish on both the shutters and framing. It is available in all our in-house colours and stain finishes.

Why is Pearlwood more expensive than Hardwood?

  • Pearlwood is more expensive than Hardwood because the entirety of the shutter is made from a natural wood product from the panels to the fixing frame. As the whole shutter is made from this natural wooden material, staining options are available which give a total of 51 finishes including a custom colour option.
