Waterproof Shutters are an ideal solution for those windows where there is a larger amount of moisture such as the bathrooms and wet rooms.
Advantages – It has a robust yet stylish material which is available in most of our shutter styles including; full height, café style, tier on tier and special shapes shutters.
Slat sizes – 47mm, 64mm, 76mm and 89mm.
Waterproof shutters are also an extremely hardwearing product that is suitable for high traffic area and often used for commercial installations. They are made from ABS which is a lightweight material that is easily moulded. It also comes in 6 of our colours and also offers a colour match option
Why would I need a waterproof shutter?
- Waterproof shutters are a great window dressing solution for bathrooms and areas exposed to moisture as they not only look fantastic with all the practical benefits that shutters offer, but they will not be damaged by this water exposure whilst still matching other shutter products throughout the home.
Can I wash my waterproof shutters?
- As your waterproof shutters can be exposed to water, you can wash them down with a damp cloth to clean them if required. You will also be provided with a feather duster to dust down your shutters when they are dry. Whilst the shutters are resistant to moisture, we do not recommend using cleaning chemicals on the shutters to ensure no unwarranted damage to the coating occurs.
What colour can my waterproof hinges be?
- To ensure that the whole shutter is waterproof, stainless steel hinges are used as a standard no matter what colour you opt for the shutter itself to be.
