Café Style Shutters by The London Shutter Company Ltd

Bay Window Shutters

Give your Bay Window a touch of style with plantation shutters. Bay windows make for a stunning highlight in modern homes and are usually located in living rooms and bedrooms as a lovely feature in the space. Our experts deal with Bay Windows at most combined consultation and measure appointments so we really are the most experienced in the industry at supplying these specialist windows. With trickier angles requiring consideration to prevent boxy or incomplete finishes, we will inform you at the time of your home visit whether details such as custom bay posts are required for your shutters to ensure a perfect finish every time. These details are made specifically for your window and its angles.

There are an abundance of shutter styles, materials and additional details that you can look into for your bay window, all of which come with different colour finish options for both the shutter and its fixings. You can find out which is the best option for you with a home visit by one of our experts, a virtual measure appointment or you can submit some basic sizes to our online calculator to get an indication of prices for each of the different materials.

We often recommend our all wood Pearlwood material for bay windows due to the abundance of staining colour finish options showing its unique grain texture as well as painted finishes available. Pearlwood is also our lightest weight material.

Another popular material for bay windows is our Hardwood which combines the fantastic lightweight benefits of wooden panels with painted finish options at a lower cost than our all wood Pearlwood material thanks to an MDF fixing frame which matches beautifully with the panels.

The favoured shutter style for bay windows is our full height shutters as these come in three variations – with a divider rail splitting the top and bottom sections of the panel, without this divider rail or with a hidden divide between the top and bottom sections of the panel allowing the slats to move independently in two sections. All of these options offer versatility of use so you know your shutters will be perfect for each room in your home. Our other customer favourites are tier on tier shutters where the top and bottom panels open separately like stable doors or café style which are extend only part of the height of the window.

You can browse each of the different material and style options available or if you have any queries at all simply call the team on 02088719333 and we will be happy to assist.
